Gary & Aniné | Elegant Winter Wedding Part 1 | Uurpan Safari, North West

This wedding was just so beautiful and such a treat to photograph that I've had to divide it up into two parts otherwise I'd end up with hundreds of images in one post;)

So lets start at the the very beginning - welcome to Part 1 of Gary & Aniné's stunning winter wedding day celebration! These two celebrated their love at the beautiful Uurpan Safari Lodge in Schweizer Reneke, which is a small town in the North West Province. Their day was elegant and classy, with warm reds, gold and marsala decor to help overcome the icy temperatures outside.

Aniné was a breathtakingly beautiful bride in her elegant, long-sleeved lace wedding dress which she paired with some strategic winter boots and of course some classy and bold red lips. The couple opted for a 'First Look' before their formal ceremony took place. This is one of my favourite exchanges to experience and photograph, and although a lot of couples may feel it more special to do it the traditional way and see each other for the first time as the bride comes down the isle, there is just something so beautiful about the quiet moment shared between a bride and groom who gaze upon each other for the first time in a moment that is so private and uninterrupted.

Once they were ready, Gary and Aniné each hid around the corner of a wall, and without seeing each other yet, they held hands and declared their personal vows to one another. Once they had made their promises, they took that first look which was filled with so much emotion!

We then headed off in a game viewing vehicle for some fun pre-wedding photos with their bridesmaids and groomsmen - who were great sports in the ice cold wind;) Once we wrapped up our first photo session it was time for the couple to finally say their long-awaited "I Do's", which will be covered in Part 2:)
